Jay S. Krzyston
February 7, 1968 - September 19, 2016

Jay S. Krzyston of Sussex passed away unexpectedly on September 19, 2016 at the age of 48. Jay was born in Milwaukee on February 7, 1968, the son of Terry and Ellen Krzyston. Raised in Waukesha, Jay graduated in 1986 from Waukesha North High School and completed a B.S. degree in computer science at the University of Wisconsin in 1991. Known for his brilliant mind, Jay pursued his career as a Senior Systems Analyst and a Supply Chain Manager, a journey that took him across the world multiple times.

Jay met Chris (Wolfe) on Valentine’s Day in 1987 at the tender age of 19. He proposed 18 months later on Sweetest Day and then married Chris on June 8, 1991. Through their 30 years together, Chris and Jay shared 25 years of marriage and raised their two incredible sons, Alex and Lucas.

Jay loved to laugh and was known for his sarcastic sense of humor. He was a natural athlete growing up and was a passionate fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers throughout his life. Jay loved history, politics, and science, but felt happiest when he was golfing with his family, playing with his sons at the Wilderness Waterpark, and walking along sandy beaches with his wife.

Jay will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife Chris and was the proud dad of Alex and Lucas, the loving son of Terry and Ellen Krzyston, the dear brother of Gregg Krzyston (Renee), the uncle of Gavin Krzyston and Andy, the son-in-law of Tom and Angie Wolfe, and the brother-in-law of Todd (Tammy) Wolfe. His beloved dog Bella will miss him, too.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 24th from 1:00-3:00pm at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Service W250 N6505 Hwy 164 Sussex.  262-246-4774.
