Jacobs, Dorothy (Price) died peacefully, surrounded by family members on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the age of 92.  Dorothy was born on January 18, 1924.  She was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandma, and great grandma.  In 1945, Dorothy married her soul mate, Richard K. Jacobs, with whom she celebrated 68 beautiful years of marriage. They will be affectionately remembered as “the perfect duo.” They raised their two children in Wauwatosa.  Dorothy is survived by her son David M. Jacobs (Nancy), daughter Mary Beth Kuhnz, and daughter-in-law Patricia A. Jacobs. Dorothy and Richard’s years together also welcomed the births of seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris), Michael (Stephanie), Kathy (Scott), Melissa (Brian), David (Katie), Peter, and Katy (Mike). She was also fortunate to have loved fourteen great-grandchildren and was happily awaiting the arrival of two more in the weeks and months to come. Dorothy was a longtime, committed parishioner of St. Pius X Parish. Dorothy was vibrant and full of beauty. Her life was an example of great love, strength and virtue. Visitation will be held on Thursday October 20, from 11am until the time of Mass at noon at St. Pius X Parish, 2506 N Wauwatosa Ave, Wauwatosa, WI, followed by procession to Wisconsin Memorial Park for interment. Dorothy’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Patty, Lucero, Anne, and Victoria for their compassionate care of Dorothy during her final months of life.
