Proud mother and grandmother, Joyce Brassington, born April 7 1925 to Lydia and Erwin Koellner, found peace on October 18, 2016.  Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years Robert L Brassington, son Charles and brother, Robert Koellner.  Joyce is survived by her companion Dale Hight, sister Susan Koellner Baker, daughter Linda (David) Daniels, daughter- in- law Holly Brassington and grandchildren Kari Weber, Robert Brasssington, Tricia and Elizabeth Daniels.

Joyce graduated from Wauwatosa High School and Milwaukee Downer College.  She worked for many years at Memorial Hospital of Oconomowoc in the X-ray department and as a volunteer.  She was a long time member of her church, Christ the King in Delafield, active in the quilting circle and helping with the gardens.

Gardening was a passion throughout her life.  She always had lovely perennial gardens and fed the family with fresh vegetables.  She volunteered for many years at Shorehaven, incuding planting flower gardens and working in the Country Store.  Joyce was an avid card player and loved both bridge and Sheepshead.  She was skilled in the arts of quilting, embroidery, tatting, knitting and cross stitch. Joyce enjoyed spending time and traveling with her family and friends.  Her travels included wintering in Florida and Arizona and overseas adventures.
