To all the Tetzlaff family, Bev and I send our deepest sympathy for the loss of your "Mom". You are all really good people who I have felt a tremendous amount of love and respect from since I first came in touch with this family on the ball diamond.
Jerry and Lilian were a dynamic duo that welcomed everyone at anytime. The most genuinely caring people you can ever know. I can remember spending nights there as lodging before games when I was traveling from Illinois. That was Bev and I and our three little kids. Breakfast, lunch, lodging, and baseball. Think about that. My family which is huge is the best. The next best family is the Tetzlaffs, hands down. Being part of the Tetzlaff baseball family remains part of our core.
I don't know a player on the Sussex baseball team that didn't feel "special".
Please accept my apologies for not being with you today and your family. I badly want to be with you all. I am sick but on the mend.
With much love,

Tom and Bev Konkol

I want you to know that I met Lillian once. I believe she is in heaven. Even though she departed this Earth, she is very much alive in heaven with Jesus, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. May Lillian Rest In Peace.
