Almyra "Myra" Hansen
January 29, 1921 - July 18, 2014
        

Almyra (Myra) Hansen was born January 29, 1921 at Clayton, Wisconsin to Eddie and Ella Nelson and passed away on July 18, 2014. She grew up on a farm and graduated from Clayton High School in 1938. After working various jobs in the Osceola area, she met and married Earl Hansen on August 1, 1941. Earl was drafted into the Army in 1942 and served overseas. Earl and Myra settled in Austin, Minnesota after Earl returned from the war and Earl was employed by J.C. Hormel Company where he worked for 35 years. Earl passed away in 2009. Myra leaves behind sons Gary (Carole), Washington, Jim (Gloria), Wisconsin and Brian, Wisconsin. She also is survived by one granddaughter Erica (Bill) Robarge and one grandson Jens Hansen. She also leaves one great granddaughter Susie Robarge. Surviving brothers and sisters are Virginia Istel, Wisconsin, James Nelson, Wisconsin, Carolyn (Lynn) Gebert, Wisconsin and Royann (Gene) Fall, Wisconsin. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins. Myra was preceded in death by her parents, her son Wayne, brothers Lenny (Ruth) Nelson and Donnie (Terry) Nelson and sisters Betty (Sig) Gudal and Dorrene (Gordy) Weiher.

Funeral services shall take place at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Mequon, Wisconsin at 10 AM on Saturday, August 2, 2014.

A graveside ceremony shall take place at Pleasant Prairie Cemetery in Osceola, Wisconsin at a date yet to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Myra's name should be directed to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Mequon.
