MELO, NORMA E.,

(Nee Abegglen) 61, of Mukwonago, WI died peacefully at 8:25pm on July 24, 2014 at home after a long illness.  Born September 10, 1952, in Monroe, WI, daughter of Gottfried and Irma Abegglen.  She worked for 21 years at Inn the Olden Days and continued at Fork in the Road Restaurant in Mukwonago.  She became fast friends with customers for her wit and fun personality.  Norma loved to hunt, fish and go out with friends and family.  She adored her grandchildren and was a big fan of watching movies, the Packers, and tailgating at Brewer games.  She is survived by her loving son John (Angie) Valentine of Endicott, NY; daughter Kimberly (Darrin) Valentine of Surprise, AZ; special friends Bob and Kitty Kokott as well as their children Joe, Rachel and Jenny of Mukwonago, WI; grandchildren Addison, Tori, Matthew Valentine and Shawna Macur; she had 5 siblings twin sister Lora Conrad; Linda (Jim) Nevermann; Joan (Ted) Kahley; Willis (Mary) Abegglen;  Marian (Jim) Montana; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents Gottfried and Irma Abegglen and sister Jean Wells.  Services will be on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at The Vernon Evangelical Luthern Church located at S. 90 W. 27550 National Ave (HWY ES) officiating.  Visitation starts at 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at which time Memorial Services will be held. Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home helped the family. Post memorial luncheon will be served in fellowship hall.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are greatly appreciated.
