Krause, Obert E.

Found peace, August 14, 2014. Age 90. Beloved husband of 60 years to the late Bernice (nee Buhler). Loving father of Richard (Debby), Donald (Denise) Krause and Janice (Mike) Krause-Grant. Further survived by his grandchildren Laurie Letizia and Teresa Parker, 5 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Obert was born July 28, 1924 in the Town of Helvetia, Waupaca County WI to Fred and Golla Krause. In the late 1940's Obert moved to Oshkosh, WI where he and Bernice married and began raising a family. In 1957 the family moved to Menomonee Falls where he would reside until his death. A skilled welder/fabricator, Obert was a 28 year employee of Inland Steel Co. Obert was a"jack of all trades" and involved in many remodeling and construction projects with family and friends. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Obert served honorably in the Army and the Ready Reserve. Obert was a member and former elder of Pilgrim Ev. Lutheran Church in Menomonee Falls.

Visitation at the FUNERAL HOME on Saturday August 23, 2014 from 9:30AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00AM. Private burial will take place in Ogdensburg, WI
