I think back to when I was young child and I would always look forward to seeing my Grandma Jean. A caring and loving woman to our family, friends, and even strangers. I will always remember her for being adventurous. She told me she wanted to go skiing at Big Powderhorn Mt. one last time before it was too late even though she knew it wouldn't be easy. I am inspired by my Grandma Jean to be as adventurous as her, and live life to it's fullest. She will always be with me as I endure my life ahead, providing myself and others with strength and courage.

As our family were long time residents with yours on 119th St., I wish to express our condolences on your loss of Jean. In recent years I was able to enjoy her company at lunch when Norma Hockensmith was in town.

I will always remember my Grandma Jean for her optimistic view on life and her incredible crafting skills. I never had a dull moment when I was with her whether we were attending church, baking, watching tv, or decorating. She was one of the best role models a grand daughter could ask for. She will forever live in my heart and I will always hold our memories near and dear to me.
