My heart is very heavy today, I wish I could be there. Ed was a great friend to me over the years. The First time we met we were instant friends. I have laughed with you thousands of times in person or on the phone. We had some fun times together.
I am going to miss calling you during the final question of jeopardy and each of us trying to get the answer right, the "spirited" discussions of any topic of the day. The endless sports discussions about the Chiefs, Packers, Wildcats or any other sports teams. Picking the "best of all time lists". I am going to miss your Laugh my friend, it was contagious!
All the road trips and people watching we did will always be some of the greatest times of my life.
I am going to miss the great conversations we had of what book you just read and its relevance in history. Our "Siskel and Ebert" breakdowns of every movie or TV show we just watched. I have to read more of the books you discussed with me that is for sure. Ed you were such a good friend, helping me with work, family, personal issues. I am still in shock.
Ed Berridge Jr. was perhaps one of the smartest humans to ever walk this planet. Ed my friend you could talk up a storm, but you were smart enough to be a great listener. He Loved his Family and Friends. Ed bragged about his nephew and neice and His Sister, his love for you all beamed every time he mentioned anything about what you had done.
I am going to miss debating any topic we could come up with.
Ed was one of the few people in this world that I have met that I could talk to for hours at a time in person or on the phone. I miss you my brother, I will always remember you, I shall shed a tear for you, tell a funny story about you and try and move through this Day! I know we may argue later about this, but I am going to say it God Bless You.... Till we meet again my friend. Amen.
