Born December 10, 1931 in New York City, died on Sunday, October 19, 2014 from advanced Pulmonary Fibrosis.  Predeceased by her husband, George F. Wingertzahn. She is survived by her four children:  Michael, John (Megan McKeough), Trish (Tim) O'Brien, Ellen (Mark) Reynolds, her precious grandsons, Matthew Kyle and Andrew John O'Brien and her twin, Mary Jane Mungan. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews. Daughter of John J. Mungan and Mary Johnson Mungan.

She recently retired from Shorewest Real Estate after more than thirty years as a realtor. Carol was a graduate of the Ursuline School and the College of New Rochelle. 

Visitation at LUMEN CHRISTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2700 W Mequon Rd., corner of N. Range Line Rd in Mequon, on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 6:15 PM with the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 6:30 PM. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Westchester County, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Lawlis Family Hospice, the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the American Heart Association will be welcomed. 

The family wishes to thank all those who gave such wonderful care to Carol during her illness, most especially, David Lucke, MD and the magnificent staff of the Lawlis Family Hospice.
