Robbins, Marcia French

Of Mequon. Entered the Kingdom of Heaven surrounded by her loving family on November 22, 2014 at the age of 83. Loving and devoted wife of 54 years to Richard “Dick” Robbins. Beloved mother to Richard (Yi-Jin), Brinton (Julie) and Michael Robbins. Proud grandmother to Jack, Charlie, Owen, Henry, Elaina, Amy, Ryan, Daniel and Steven. Dear sister of Louise (Peter) Friedlander and Ursula Schultz. Preceded in death by sister Georgia and brother George. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and precious friends. 

Marcia grew up on the east side of Milwaukee on Summit Avenue, the daughter of George and Louise French. Graduated Milwaukee University School and the University of Arizona where she was a member of Alpha Pi sorority. Active in the Milwaukee Junior League and Juvenile Diabetes Association of Wisconsin. 

Her family was her greatest treasure in life. Marcia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. 

Friends may greet the family on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 1:00 PM to the time of the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 PM at LUMEN CHRISTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2700 West Mequon Road, corner North Range Line Road in Mequon. A reception at the Town Club in Fox Point will follow at 3:30 PM .
