Fleck, Beverly Margaret (nee Rogers)

Of Menomonee Falls, WI. Beverly succumbed to heart disease on Feb. 21, 2015 at age 79. Born in Ashland, WI, to Kenneth Eugene Rogers and Beatrice Adelaide (nee Bomey) Rogers on July 4, 1935. Beverly graduated from Washburn High School in Washburn, WI in 1953. She married Marvin Arlen Fleck on August 30, 1958, and was widowed in 1972. Beverly worked 16 years at the General Casting Foundry in Waukesha, WI and then owned and operated the Four Seasons Tavern in Greenbush, WI for a few years. She returned to school in 1980 to learn computer programming and received her GED in 1980. She continued working until age 73, at various manufacturing businesses.

Born on the 4th of July, Beverly happily said the whole country celebrated her birthday each year. She belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary of AMVETS and spent much of her retirement crocheting lap quilts and assembling toiletry kits for veterans. Beverly was an excellent cribbage player and loved celebrating holidays, especially St. Patrick's Day due to her Irish heritage. She never hesitated to hoist a beer and was a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan. She was fun to be around and though she never had much, she was always happy to share what she had.

Survived by her son, Allen Lee Fleck, daughter-in-law Sharon (Kawell) Fleck, grandchildren Derek Bradley Fleck, Sarah Lois Fleck, Ali Nicole (Phil) Byrne, Kevin Michael Peterson, Timothy Allen Erickson and Edward James Erickson; great-grandchildren Selah Fleck, Elias Fleck and Patrick Byrne; brother-in-law James Fleck Sr., sister-in-laws Bernice Rogers, Estee (Fleck) Huish, Dorothy "Dottie" (Fleck) Spyhalski and Betty (Fleck) Naser; many loving nephews and nieces and several close friends. Preceded in death by husband Marvin Arlen Fleck, daughter Linda Susan (Rogers) Erickson and siblings Kenneth Edward Rogers, Lawrence Joseph Rogers, Patricia Ann (Rogers) Fleck and Maxine Catherine (Rogers) Barefoot. Per Beverly's wishes no services will be held.
