Maureen “Mo” was an energetic, enthusiastic lover of life and others. She volunteered for many things, including St. Francis Children’s Center, Holy Family Church and was a docent at the Pabst Mansion. Her wonderful personality and superb organizational skills served her well for years as a trip director in the incentive travel business, which took her all over the world. More recently, many knew her as office manager and phone answering voice at SC Environmental in Mequon.

Mo was a voracious reader consuming 1-2 books a week including periodicals and blogs. Mo’s curiosity and lifelong penchant for learning was expressed in everything from pottery crafting to knowledge of current events to snow-shoeing and forestry management with her husband Al at “Camp Alamo”, their property near Richland Center that they so enjoyed together.

Maureen’s non-complaining courage in her battle with cancer and her unselfish concern for others through it all was truly inspiring.
