Schoenke, Louise Shirley (nee Benson) "Lou"Of Menomonee Falls. Peacefully left for heaven on Oct. 1, 2015 after a short bout with cancer. Born June 14, 1926. Age 89 years. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Donald. Loving mother of Donald J., Denise (Linden) Holmen, Diane Sterba, Dean (Connie) and Dawn (Dan) Schoenherr. Further survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, her brother Jim Benson, sisters-in-law Arlene, Marion, June (Leo) and Rita (Charles) and many loving nieces and nephews.A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Mon. Oct. 5 at 11 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, N89 W16297 Cleveland Ave., Menomonee Falls. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Church from 10 AM until time of Mass. Louise was an avid gardener, cook, caretaker, advice giver, lover of learning. Her passion for always trying to help others was an inspiration. She will be greatly missed by her family, relatives, friends, neighbors and all those whose lives she touched over the years with her selfless care and concern. In lieu of flowers, Louise requests to please feed those in need.
