Schlei, Robert "Bob" Arthur

Died peacefully in his sleep on January 30, 2016 at the age of 83.

Bob enjoyed many years serving his Sussex community, which included 27 years on the fire department and as Fire Chief. But nothing in his life was of greater importance to him than his family.

Husband and best friend for 59 years to Adena "DeeDee" (Rankin).

Father of Janet (Corky) Curtis and Bruce (Kelly) Schlei.

Devoted grandfather of Patrick Curtis, Kailyn (Wade) Crook,  Carolyn (Bob) Brzoznowski, Abbey (Andy) Anderson and Sunnie LaVigne. Proud great grandfather of Rhett, Warren, Brad, AvaTaylor, Steven, MaryGrace, Owen, and Jameson.

Brother of BettyJane (late Arnie) Peterson and Shirley (late Charles) Zimmermann. Brother in law of Ruth Rankin, Mahala Rankin, Marjorie Schlei, and Martha Page.

Further survived by many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation Thursday, February 4 at the funeral home from 4 PM until time of Funeral Service at 7 PM.  Private burial Lisbon-Central Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sussex SmokeEaters Association or Lisbon Presbyterian Church.
