Martin Ricco "Marty" Schreiber
April 23, 2016 - April 25, 2016

Martin Ricco Schreiber was born into the world on Saturday morning April 23rd, 2016 and peacefully left the arms of his parents on April 25th, 2016.  He weighed a solid 9 pounds and 6 oz and was 22.5 inches, and quickly earned the nickname “Marty”.  Though his stay was much too brief, he delivered a lifetime of love and joy to those who knew him.

Marty fought valiantly for 2 days so he could meet and unite with the family that loved him more than anything else in the world.  He was lovingly adored and hugged by his big sister and brother. He was able to hold hands with all of his aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was spoiled with kisses by his grandparents.  Finally, he was able to spend some precious hours with his parents — listening to their songs, enjoying their cuddles, and feeling safe in the presence of their voices and bodies.  Marty peacefully left holding God’s hand, knowing he was loved and cherished by all.

Marty will always be a hero to his parents Nate and Theresa, and he will live in their hearts and spirits forever.  Marty’s siblings Aubrey and Beau will always have a brother in heaven keeping them safe.  His grandparents, Robert and Rose Schreiber, James and Marlene Ricco, Jacqueline Schuenke, and Great Grandma Mary Ricco will also carry on his love.  Marty was lucky enough to have a legion of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins who will carry on his memory and forever support his aching parents.

We love you, Marty!

Visitation will be held for Marty on Friday, April 29th at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Mukwonago from 3:30 PM until the time of Funeral Service at 6:00 PM.  Family burial will be held on Saturday, April 30th at St. Theresa Cemetery in Eagle.

A memorial fund will be established in memory of Marty for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
