Of Oak Creek, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2016 with his adored daughter, Jessikha Poeppel, 14, by his side. Joshua found peace and was called home suddenly at the age of 37 after fighting through various health problems exacerbated by Type 1 diabetes.  

Joshua was born in Milwaukee to Linda Poeppel and the late John Poeppel. Joshua is survived by his sister, Melanie Poeppel. He attended Grafton High School 1993 to 1997 while living with his grandparents, Audrey Seal and the late Melvin Seal. Joshua prided himself as a good provider and awesome father to Jessikha. He worked over 3 years at Walmart in South Milwaukee as a Produce Clerk and as an assistant manager at Subway on South 27th Street beforehand.   

He will be greatly missed by his cousin and caregiver, Courtney Seal. Joshua uniquely touched the lives of those blessed to know him in his life and his sense of humor, playfulness and kind heart will be dearly missed by all his family and his friends.   

The family welcomes all that wish to attend the brief interment ceremony of Joshua, along with his father John Poeppel at St. Catherine's Cemetery, 8661 N. 76th Place in Brown Deer, on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11am.
