(nee Tousignant) Of Wauwatosa.  Born to Eternal Life, Tuesday, May 24, 2016.  Age 72.  Beloved wife for 15 years of Greg.  Devoted mother of Jennifer (Dax) Schaefer and Amy Lino.  Loving grandmother of Cole and Maddie Schaefer and Jake Lino.  Dear sister of Patsy (Chuck) Rusk, Byron (Wendy) Tousignant and Dick (Teri) Tousignant.  Further survived by her sister-in-law, Pat Tousignant; Greg’s children, Todd (Tasha) Mahnke, Scott (Sue) Mahnke and Steve Mahnke; Karen Mahnke; Greg’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Preceded in death by her parents, Alcide and Eleanor Tousignant; her brother, Tom Tousignant; and Greg’s daughter, Shelley Herman.  Renée will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Visitation Saturday, May 28 from 1:00pm until time of Memorial Service at 3:00pm at the Funeral Home. 

After graduating from Lyon’s Township High School in LaGrange, Illinois,  Renée attended junior college where she studied Spanish.  She devoted her life to her daughters and to her volunteer work with special education students in the New Berlin School District, at West Allis Memorial Hospital, at the Ronald McDonald House and at St. Jude the Apostle School. Renée retired as a teaching assistant from the Elmbrook School District.  Renée  loved to travel to Door County with her family.  Above all, the greatest joy of  Renée's life was her three grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
