Found peace on July 15, 2016 at the age of 76. Loving husband of Alice (nee Kolberg) for 52 years. Father of Sheri (Russ) DuQuaine, Kevin (fiancé Michelle Burkwald), Keith (Laura) and Shelli (Robert) Brazgel. Grandfather of Lindsey, Chad, Ashley, Amanda, Sean and Corey. Step-grandfather of Evan and Katie. Step-great-grandfather of Amberlynn. Preceded in death by his parents Paul and Edna Lenser; brother Ken and sister Lucille. He is survived by his sister Millie, other relatives and friends.

Mel worked for the Village of Menomonee Falls for 39 years and served in the United States Army National Guard.

Visitation will be Friday July 22, 2016 at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, N59 W22476 Silver Spring Dr. in Sussex, from 2pm until time of Memorial Service at 4pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society or Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church would be greatly appreciated.
