Entered into Eternal Life on August 14, 2014 at the age of 70- just 2 days before his birthday. Beloved husband of Pauline for 52 years. Loving father of Ron (Lori) Stortz, Fred Chandler, Cathy (Jeff) Bonaparte, Pam (Mike) McGrath and Paulette (Jim) Czerwinski. Proud “Papa” of Anna, Sara, Michelle, Jeremy, Nick, Troy, Luke, Alex, Joel, Jake and Jenna. Great-grandpa of Carter and Christian. Brother and best friend of Joe (Rosemary) and Annie. Brother-in-law of Herbie, Bob, Paul and the late Danny. Further survived by his favorite cousin Gladys, other relatives and many dear friends. He will be missed by his 100lb. K9 companion lap dog, Cody. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Catherine Stortz.

Visitation will be Tuesday August 19, 2014 at the funeral home from 4pm until a short service at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at St. Charles Catholic Church, 313 Circle Dr. in Hartland, at 11:30am. Visitation will be at church from 10:30am until time of Mass. Procession to the church cemetery will follow.
