Aunt Vicki, Uncle Dan, Chris, Jess & Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Alan was a wonderful, funny person, and I was lucky to have him as a cousin.
As an incredibly shy person growing up, I always admired his friendliness and unique perspective of the world. He always made me feel comfortable whenever we spoke.
I remember in particular his interest in obscure Indie bands (I remember him once making a reference to the Icelandic rock band Sigur Rós during one of our family gatherings, which was wild), his political activism, and the fact that he owned a VR headset for video games (and the live reenactment of Fruit Ninja was hilarious). I always thought he was really cool. I still do.
I also remember very well the eulogy Alan gave at grandpa's funeral and how he was able to so eloquently express everything I had wanted to say about grandpa myself. He was an amazing speaker and conversationalist.
He'll be in my thoughts as will all of you.
All my love,
Susan

Alan & I worked together at Club Automation. But deeper than that, we were friends.
I am so sad to lose this wonderful human being.
I just donated to the All Herding Breed Dog Rescue.
My best thoughts & feelings to you, Alan's family, who might be reading this. He was truly one of a kind. I've only known Alan for about a year and a half, but I'll never forget him.
On a lighter note, last summer he made homemade bacon. We had a driveway visit to share in said bacon, which was rather salty, but lovely. As if that experience alone wasn't so very Alan, he was wearing his custom t-shirt parodying the movie Alien. The one that said "Alan" instead of Alien, and "in space, no one can hear you in space."
I'm gonna miss him.

I am deeply saddened to hear about Alan's sudden passing. I was one of Alan's clients and always enjoyed his jovial spirit.
He was one of the good ones. I am better for knowing Alan.
Kania family, you have my best! Praying you through the difficult days and weeks ahead.
Much love.
Praying in Virginia.
