James A. "Jim" Bushner
February 1, 1939 - June 6, 2021
We have only just learned of Jim's passing from our friend, Stan Smith. So very glad we had our "Connie" reunion a few years ago to reconnect and reminisce with old friends. I think of Jim often because of two pictures we have hanging in our home. One is from a Lawrence football game that was published in the Appleton newspaper with the caption (I think), "Which way are they going?" Jim (on my left) and I are looking in one direction and J.D. and the others in the other direction. Our kids had a painting made of the picture for our 50th anniversary. We send our heartfelt sympathy to all of Jim's family and will treasure our memories.
(I also wrote this message in the Legacy guest book that's connected somehow with the newspaper obituary. The pictures are attached to that message)

To the Bushner Family,
We send our sincere condolences. Jim is now a part of the band in heaven. May his love of music and family provide peace and comfort to you all.
