I remember Alex well from our days being children together on Regency Court. Being a few years older, I remember watching him and Pablo during block parties and other such occasions. Both boys were so sweet and inquisitive and bright - I especially remember Alex's smile and sweet disposition. I'm so very sorry for your immense loss. I'll be praying for your comfort and peace as you all await your reunification with him in heaven <3

I know that Alex was well loved and respected. He was always positive, happy and upbeat. In high school, we would mess around together and pull harmless pranks. He always knew how to make people laugh. My love is with his family. He will be missed dearly.

I worked with Alex for 2 years. He had a great sense of humor, was professional, polite, determined, and very proud of his sports and coaching accomplishments. An overall great young man who will be missed.

Freshman year when I was more shy, he sat by me in study hall and played cards with me almost every day. He has always been one of the kindest people I know and my prayers go out to the family and the basketball team. I'm so sorry for your loss, he is still always here in everyone's hearts and memories.

Mr. Lloyd was a great person, my favorite substitute to get, and made everyone happy just by being there. Anytime I saw him I always shouted a "Hey Mr Lloyd!" and him always responding with a "whats up Savannah!", the interaction, although small, always made my day better. Mr. Lloyd was funny, cheerful, and kind. I know he will be brining that cheer and kindness with him, he will forever be missed by everyone who knew him.

Whenever Alex smiled it made me smile. That's what I'll remember the most because through that smile I felt love and compassion. Thank you Alex. You will be greatly missed.

I can’t even pretend to imagine what you must be facing. I can’t even offer enough words to make you feel better, only prayers and my heart. It has been an absolute blessing to know Coach Lloyd and to be under his arms, leadership, care, and love for 4+ years. I’m extremely sad that he left us, but still extremely thankful that he left us with an abundance of memories and lessons. My prayers and love are with the family. I could go on and on but there aren’t enough characters allowed in the condolence box to let me finish commemorating him.

It was with pride that after knowing Alex for 14 years, I was able to follow his journey from student at Gtown, to friend, and recently a colleague at Whitnall. My heart is broken for loosing Alex so soon, but he has left a beautiful amount of memories that we will all carry in our hearts.
