Dear Paul and Family,
I just heard of Maris's passing yesterday. I am so sorry for your loss. Even though I haven't seen her in recent years, I have thought of her often. We had a crafting group for a while and one the things we made (Maris's project) was a felt nativity scene. I still have that project and it hangs on my dining room door every Christmas season. It brings back happy memories every time I look at it. I wish you all peace. Cindy

My sincere condolences are extended to your family at this time. May you always remember the joyful times your family shared together. Maris was a sweet friend with whom I went to school for nine years. She was a true friend.
May God comfort you!

To Maria’s family, you all have my deeps sympathy. I met Maria’s when we both left Adams County to go to Lakeland. We traveled back and forth on the train several times. I did not stay at Lakeland but have some wonderful memories of those days. I remember when she met you Paul. She will be missed but keep all your memories close to your heart. God bless you all. My heart goes out to you Paul, Matt and Nate. I know your names as Maris spoke of you often! I met Maris in 1989 at Ben Franklin. In 2000 I was privileged to work under Maris direction in Kndg. Impressed by her dedication to Reading Recovery program. Maris was a special friend to children and colleagues.
Yes. Maris with her kindness absolutely made our world a nicer, better and happier place.
Well done faithful servant dear Maris.
Peace to your family.
