I am heartbroken for you Ann, Beth, David, and Matt. Tom was one of a kind. We weren’t close growing up but reconnected after the reunions and all of you welcomed me into your home and families. I am so grateful for the previous time I got to spend with you all and will continue to do so, even though Tom will no longer be physically present. The road trips to Tomahawk, the cabin, Green Bay were just a few. Pool parties, old fashions, laughing and enjoying each other will always be a treasure to me. I love you all and am praying for all of you to find peace with his unexpected passing. ??????

Our hearts are so saddened at the loss of Tom. I worked with him at MSOE for 16 years. I did his billing so I was blessed to have many wonderful conversations with him. He was a wonderful Man who loved his family and his work family fiercely. We will miss your positive spirit and caring heart, Tom. Our Prayers and heartfelt condolences go out to his family , friends, and colleagues. Rest easy my friend. Job well done.

It was truly a pleasure knowing and working with Tom through MSOE's Corporate Education program. His knowledge and teaching ability in working with adult students and practicing engineers was outstanding and appreciated by everyone he served. Rest in peace my good friend.

Tom was a very giving, fluid power professional. He had extensive knowledge and was ALWAYS generous in sharing it with the industry. As intelligent as he was, he always made you feel comfortable and was always welcoming. I will miss talking to Tom at industry events, and the industry will miss his great knowledge and generosity.

While Tom and I never worked on any projects together, we were both MSOE alums, colleagues, and just shared that special MSOE bond and mindset. I was and remain deeply saddened to hear of his loss . . . along with which goes more of that unique and precious history that is MSOE. Thanks Tom for all that you contributed to fluid power in general and to MSOE in particular; my deepest condolences to Tom’s family as well.

I extend my sympathy to Tom's loving family and his many friends. Tom and I first met 35 years ago through our shared interest in fluid power. We always stopped to talk when we met at industry functions, and I would add that Tom stood out for his uncompromising honesty.

All good men will be missed and Tom was one of the best. I respected his knowledge and passion of all things fluid power, his insights and his support for education. My deepest condolences to his family for their loss. Tom's legacy will keep him in our hearts and minds as each of us moves forward to meet our own challenges. May he rest in peace.

Deepest condolences for Ann and children, family, and Tom's many friends. I met Tom outside the (then) MSOE President's office. Tom was to receive the first Otto Maha Research award - and I was interviewing to join MSOE. Over the years we worked together on many projects; Tom had a complete superb grasp of anything "fluid power', so I relied upon his judgment and advice. May Tom rest in peace and be remembered by all of us who knew him.
