Oh how much I enjoyed serving with Lita in the Wisconsin Legislature. She was a great friend and just a wonderful person to be around. A highlight for me was joining her and Don for a Gov. Thompson trade mission to Asia. Don, Lita and I took a side trip to Macau (her idea!) and absolutely filled our free time with fun. She was a true example of a strong public servant and a class act always! My sympathy to her family.

I worked for Lolita when she served in the Wisconsin Legislature. She taught me so much about how to work, the priority of keeping connected with people and the privilege of serving. I’m grateful we kept touch through the years and send caring thoughts to all who will miss her.

I knew Lita from my previous life in Menomonee Falls and had the privilege to work with her in American Association of University Women and in a political campaign. She was the "poster woman" for a strong lady as well as one with all the good qualities you would want in a friend!

I am sorry I will not be able to attend the visitation due to a conflict. I had the privilege of serving in the Wisconsin Assembly with Lita for 12 years. Although we were in different parties, we were able to work together and get to know each other. Consequently, I knew Don as well. Lita was a truly fine person and genuinely believed in serving to improve the lives of her fellow Wisconsites. My sincere condolences to the family.
