Thank you, Linda and Daniel, for allowing me to share a brief moment in your lives. Our chats, be they verbal or via letter board, will always remain dear and legendary to me. Linda, your recipes, stories and love for food, even with all the recent challenges of adapting your cooking, are an inspiration. Your ingenuity shows all that, no matter what form food needs to take, it can and should always be tasteful, adventurous, and enjoyable to the person eating. Please, capture and share your skills on paper or online so that everyone who cooks a modified meal for someone special can offer the loving variety that you did for Dan. Your culinary efforts provided a high quality of life at a time of great need. As always, I shall pass on what I have learned, be it facts about EV vehicles, better transfer techniques, peculiarities of feeding fish, alternative methods of communicating, the location for fine chocolates, or the recipe you shared that became the “John Special”. The phenomenal connection you and Dan enjoyed is something which we all hope to achieve. We will all fondly share his story, as well as look forward to the continuing adventures of yours.
