Katie, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You have had many wonderful years together and now the painful adjustment sets in. I live on the Mt. Mary campus and I have wondered if you still live in this neighborhood. My prayers for you and your family.
Much love, your classmate, Darlene Zettel

I was so sorry to hear about Uncle John’s passing, but he led a long, fulfilling and wonderful life, and he and Aunt Kate raised 6 amazing kids who were always a huge part of my life growing up. You all were like brothers and sisters to me and always will be. My prayers and condolences to all of you in your time of grief, and especially Aunt Kate, who was an amazing partner to Uncle John and a second mom to me. Uncle John was a second dad to me who I admired very much for his quiet wisdom, guidance, intelligence and sense of humor. Some of my fondest memories will always be of all of us being family together in your house in Wauwatosa with the bank behind it, and all the love and fun we all had there as aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews and cousins. Uncle John is in a better place now, and I look forward to seeing him again someday. I love all of you.
