Dear Kim, Brendan, and Patrick, I just learned of your mom’s passing and I am so saddened. Karen and I had a great time being Brownie leaders together! It was wonderful seeing you all grow up. She and I would reconnect at resale shops every now and then and catch up on each others lives. Love and hugs to you all!

Karen had a heart of gold. She loved her family & friends. When I talked to her on the phone,it was never a short call. She kept everyone informed of what was happening with high school and college friends. She will be sorely missed. Rest in peace dear Karen.

Dear Kim and family, I'm very sorry to learn of your dear mother's passing. Your mother was kind and I enjoyed meeting her and your dad at the St.Mary's move in days. Their humor and smiles will always be remembered fondly. May you find peace and God's Blessings for comfort during this difficult time.. Sending you hugs and prayers.

Evanescent as "walking stick bugs" found at the Goodwin's cottage while hiking with kids...we go on
mourning's, spark of water.
Karen loved water and built a house near high slides down into ever changing Lake Michigan. I can hear her voice. A 1st Nation "Signal Tree" may still point dark bark in the woods, on the edge of the Great Lake-- silently saying "go this way", with love, for Karen.

Gratitude
