My dearest Wendogger- you’ve enhanced my life in countless ways both directly and indirectly. Thank you for the gift of your children, Stacy my forever sister from day one & Scotty my little bro, both of whom I love more with each day. You’ve been a true living example of perseverance, compassion, tolerance, and patience. You welcomed me into your family since 1989 and what a ride it’s been. Thank you for saving my life back in 1992, and doing that with such empathic love that told me just how much I mattered to you and in the world. Thank you for supporting me emotionally all the times I needed it, and thank you for the acquaintance with Ken, Tim, Bonnie, Mike, and Adam. Life shaping experiences that couldn’t have happened without you, that in turn expanded my capacity to love.
Thank you for bringing GJ, John, Gene, and Carol, as well as all your furry loves into my life and the life of my children, too. Especially Finn. Know Amy & Geoff will care for him as you would have. We are all better for that but mostly for your gift of time, care, empathy and sympathy, love, patience, humor, and reminders to have fun and follow our passions. This world is better for having had you as a part of it, and mine is certainly graced with our shared bond. Thank you for all you are, have been, and will continue to be. Thank you for trusting me to care for you a bit this past 18 mos., even if I did accidentally spray you in the face that time - (still sorry about that!) but it was nice to hear you laugh with me that day. I’ll always cherish our silly holiday photos & moments we’ve shared. Watch over us please and guide us but first rest. You’ve certainly fought the wars of many armies this past 18 months, and I’m hopeful you’re now in the loving arms of all who’ve left us before you. Send our love to all of them, know forever how valued you always will be, and take heart that I’ll take care of your kiddos. Love you forever, Wendy. Will miss you always. ~A~
