I can’t tell you anything about Grace that you don’t already know because she was simply unforgettable. She was not only a devoted wife to my dear friend Bill but also an incredible mother, a loving grandmother, and a cherished friend and mother-in-law. Grace embodied kindness in every possible way. She had a heart that knew no limits, always putting others before herself and offering a warm smile, a gentle word, or a helping hand to anyone in need.
I first met Grace in the late ‘80s, and from that moment on, we formed a lasting friendship. She had a way of making everyone feel special, of listening with genuine interest, and of turning even the simplest moments into treasured memories. We crafted together, shopped together, and took countless road trips often just so she could find the perfect pattern or the softest yarn. No matter where we went, she had a way of brightening the day, making strangers feel like friends and friends feel like family.
Her kindness wasn’t just in grand gestures it was in the little things, too. The way she spoke with warmth and sincerity, the way she never hesitated to help, and the way she filled every room with love. She was a source of comfort and encouragement, always choosing to see the good in people and the beauty in life.
As God welcomes Grace into heaven, she will forever hold a special place in my heart. Though her absence is deeply felt, I find comfort in knowing that my daughters had the chance to say goodbye and will carry with them a lifetime of happy memories. The loss is profound, but the love she shared with all of us will never fade. Her kindness will live on in the lives she touched, in the hearts she warmed, and in the love that will never be forgotten.
Love you Grandma G, A.K.A G-Money
