I first met Dan while delivering Meals on Wheels. I spent quite alot of time with him the last few years and we became good friends, enjoying lively, good-natured conversation about politics (we didn't agree on much!). I took him to dozens of doctor appointments, running errands, etc. and he was always very appreciative, which made it a pleasure to be of help. I'll miss him, but he was in so much pain that I'm glad he has found peace.
