Tim, Rob & family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you upon the passing of your dear mom. The picture you chose of Peewee truly exemplifies who she is; a person of tremendous joy!
I've come to know your mom and your family via friends who were close to your mom and dad. Our paths begin to pass on a regular basis. I smile when I would run into your dad and he was aware that I knew him, but he always would say to me; "Hi Fr. Marv, I'm Peewee's husband." He would laugh and would say; "everyone knows Peewee!"
I am so grateful to have known both your mom and dad. Your mom was especially a gift in my life, significantly when I was falsely accused and later acquitted. Your mom would call, stop over to see me bringing groceries for my sons and me. She was so supportive and concerned that I was ok, as well as my sons. I am forever grateful for her kindness and support.
We would meet when she would come to the Phoenix area to spend time with a close friend. It was always great to have lunch and spend time with Peewee for she held such joy and love I felt being in her presence.
The last time I was with your mom was when she was selling the condo in Pewaukee. It was at that time, she knew the onset of memory issues were setting in. It was mentioned in the obit that she was a heavy smoker. I politely asked her if we could sit out on the patio. I said to Peewee, "No offense Peewee, but the smoking in your condo is getting to me." we laughed and went outside.
Your dear mom not only graced your life, but mine and so many others. It is our faith along with the faith, joy and hope your mom lived; we believe that Peewee's "life is simply changed, not ended." Your mom now lives fully with your dad and so many others who journeyed in this life.
I hold you in prayer now and the days ahead.
In the Risen Christ,
