I flew many helicopter deer surveys with Don during my years with the Wisconsin DNR. I always felt safe with Don at the controls of the Bell or Schweitzer. Amazing pilot and all around great human being.

To Don's family and friends, I am sorry for your loss. Heaven gained an "Good One". I met Don through his large presence at the E Troy airport. His hard work helping establish the East Troy Airport Advisory Committee is still felt today. Thank You Don! I wish you Blue skies and tail winds.
