I just received the call from the clinic telling me of Dr. Carey’s passing. I am so very sorry for your family’s loss. Dr. Carey is one of my very few favorite doctors. I’ve been seeing him for well over 5 years. He has helped me to bring my kidneys to a safe level, and remain there, as I have stage 3 KD. We had conversations regarding a various subject, with which we shared the same beliefs in. He was a great conversationalist and an even greater as Doctor. Dr. Carey will be missed!

So sorry to learn about Mark’s passing. We attended grade school thru high school. He was a very nice guy & lived down the hill from him growing up. Thinking of your family in your time of grief

Mark took care of my husband
He has remained my friend and Dr. I looked forward to my yearly visit with him. We talked of many things
I felt his kindness and respected his quest to always try to do the right thing. I will miss him greatly as a Dr. and a friend.

Thinking of you all in the family. I've only worked with Mark for a few years at Prohealth but each time we talked, he was so kind and full of wisdom. He was so proud of his kids and excited to have met the newest granddaughter recently. He has made an impact in so many people's lives and I'm thankful for the talks we have had about life and work balance.

My deepest and most sincere heart felt condolences, very shocking and very saddening news. He sure was a great guy indeed (though I met him only twice and briefly only). I still can not fathom nor can imagine the profound sense of loss that everyone that knew him may be going thru. May the family and friends as well as all his professional colleague and patients recover from the grief soon. I’m trusting that may all who closely knew him become much more resilient after this heartbreaking news that will take some time to sink in. My sincere prayers are with everyone who’s grief stricken after this big tragedy. Dr Manohar Ahuja, a fellow Nephrologist in the town. Peace.
