I am so saddened to hear of Dan's passing. He was a towering figure in the most thoughful kind human form. You could not help but love Dan, his smile and childlike joy of life were infectious and his brilliance was the most enjoyable to engage in conversation. I will always remember him with a smile and warm feelings.

Dearest Liza and family,
