Shari and I were close friends for thirty-five years, having begun our friendship at Purdue. This is one of the worst kind of losses and it still doesn't seem possible that I can't just pick up the phone and she will be there.
My deepest condolences to Shari's family and friends. As far as John Allgood is concerned, I have about as much sympathy for him as he did for me. He did not have the decency to call me when Shari died. I had to call him five days later out of desperation. You treated me and how many others as if we merited only the lowest grade of consideration. John, you were not the only person who counted in Shari's life.

Shari and I met through Chase Bank. I came to her home and visited her friends. She's the kind of person you can never forget. My condolences to all family members and loved ones. I will never forget her. Sharon Lackey, Hamilton, OH.

John: I'm sorry for your loss. I first became acquainted with Shari through work. I work at Investment Savings Bank and she was our FISERV account manager. She was such a warm and comforting person that once you met her you were naturally drawn to her. She talked so much about you and the children that I feel like I know you.
