News doesn't always come on time. I am sorry to hear of Mr. Ulmer's passing. He was an interesting man who raised interesting children. I hope whatever radio he is broadcasting on, he can still be heard loud and ckear.

Aunt Diane- I'm so sorry for your loss. May G-d help you find comfort during this difficult time. I'm so happy Abba got to be with you and the family on Sunday. I remember the love Uncle Dale had for your dogs and I remember how he made me feel comfortable and unafraid of them. At that young age I wasn't very comfortable around dogs. You and your family are in my thoughts and I hope to hear from you or see you soon. Come visit SA, TX. Love, Malkie

My heart was so sad to see the passing of Dale. As a member of the BML I was lucky enough to receive kind letters of encouragement from both Dale and Dianne. Because of Dale's willingness to share his knowledge I became a better boxer parent. Bless him and his family and know that he touched so many in so many ways.
sincerely,

I had the distinct honor of meeting Dale personally and visited his home where I was greeted warmly by his family, especially his Boxer girl, Emily. I am looking at the photo from that afternoon now and will remember Dale fondly. What a great, great man and fantastic champion for a worthy cause - Boxer Rescue. Rest In Peace. My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends.

'Long may thy worthiness thy name advance
Amongst the virtuous and deserving most,
Who herein hast forever happy prov'd:
In life thou liv'dst, in death thou died'st belov'd.'
Dale always said the right things. His humor, his insight always encouraged me. Those words were ones he posted on Tiger Lily's page and they say what is in my heart. My deepest sympathy to Diane and family and to his beloved Boxers, Louis Z. and Ella.

To the second greatest "Gentleman" I have ever known, next to my Father in Law. After you two they broke the mold. You were a mentor to many and friend to many more. I know that Toby and Emily will be the first 2 in line to greet you at the bridge. God Speed on your journey.
Diane all of our love and deepest heartfelt condolences on your loss. We hope you can take comfort in the fact that because of Dale we have a internet neighborhood of friends around the world and without him there would still be many people looking for answers to questions of about our beloved breed the "Boxer". Thank you for letting him share his life, yours and that of your boxers with the rest of us. He really did enrich so many lives.

With the cycle of life comes sadness.
After the initial pain subsides the heart is flooded with loving memories.
You come into this world with nothing and you leave with nothing, BUT what you leave behind is how you are measured in this life.
Dale is a VERY RICH Man.

Goodbye, dear friend. This is truly my hope for Dale:
"All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... "
