Marcella M. Blankenheim
March 5, 1921 - April 18, 2017
        

 

Blankenheim, Marcella M. (nee Bizefski), 96, of Pewaukee, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 after a long illness. Wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and daughter, she passed away peacefully at Arborview Assisted Living in Pewaukee. 

Marcella was a long-time resident of Menomonee Falls and member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.  She loved music and dancing. She was a prayer warrior and would drop everything to pray the Rosary on behalf of anyone, who needed help.

The daughter of Joseph and Teresa (nee Barlash) Bizefski, she was born in Milwaukee, Wis. On March 5, 1921.  She married George Blankenheim at St. Robert’s Catholic Church in Shorewood, Wis. on August 17, 1946.  She is survived by her son James (Jacqueline) of Greensboro, GA, daughter Frances (Doll) of Key West, FL, sister Rose (Matekine) and brothers Alexander (Joell) and Thomas Bizefski.  Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, sister Teresa (Schuknecht) and brothers Joseph, Jerome, Raymond and Paul (Baker).

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, April 22 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church N74 W13604 Appleton Ave., Menomonee Falls from 11 AM until time of Memorial Mass at 11:30 AM.

The family would like to thank the staff at Arborview Assisted Living of Pewaukee, Allay Home & Hospice and Jennifer Nowak of Stowell Associates, who provided care and support during Marcella’s journey to Heaven.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the ACLU are encouraged.
