April 20, 2017, Don went to sleep and woke up in the land of Glory, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Leilani (nee Yozzo) for 57 years. Loving father of Cheri (John) Twieg, Steve (Trina), Cindy (Dennis) Dubnicka, Julie (John) Litchford and David Moede. Dear grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. 

Don was born on July 27, 1932 in Red River, Wisconsin, the son of Charles Herman Moede and Viola Amanda Hoernke.  Preceded in death by his parents and siblings Sharleen “Tootie”, Karl  and Yvonne “Snookie”.

After discharge from the Air Force Don was a carpenter and woodworker.

Visitation Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the funeral home from 1PM until time of the Funeral Service at 3PM.  Memorials to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight are appreciated.
