Robert "Bob" Harbold
May 25, 1930 - August 13, 2017
        

Born May 25, 1930 born to eternal life August 13, 2017 at the age of 87. Preceded in death by his loving wife Shirley, brother Walter, Jr and parents Walter, Sr and Ella (Maas).

Bob grew up in Menomonee Falls and moved their dairy farm to Mukwonago when he was 17 years old. He graduated from Mukwonago High School where he met his best friend Don Zingsheim who later became his brother-in-law. He was a lifelong dairy farmer yet also served in the U.S. Army where he was an airplane mechanic stationed in Germany. Bob bowled with the Tuesday Night Mixers for many years and later on a Friday morning league until his 80’s. He also loved his tractors, animals, the Packers, Brewers, dart ball, sheepshead, Nascar and Mopar cars. Anyone that knew him would say he was a quiet, kind and patient man.

Bob married Shirley March 14, 1963 and later adopted her daughter. Bob will be greatly missed by his daughter Vickie (Kim) Kusch, granddaughters Nicole (Dan) Streit, Krystle Stagman and stepsons JR and Casey Kusch. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren Carson, Mason and Kyah and his cat Mindy.

The family especially thanks Waukesha Memorial Hospital Heart Unit and AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc for their excellent care, loving attention and compassion.

Funeral service will be held Saturday August 19 at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home – Mukwonago. Visitation will begin at 10:00 with a 12:00 service. Burial to Oak Knoll cemetery will follow. In lieu of flowers a donation to The FOOD Pantry of Waukesha County is appreciated.
