Wilke, Ruth M. (nee Kasten)

Born August 13, 1934 in Waukesha to Mabel and William Kasten. Entered into Eternal Life on August 21, 2017 at the age of 83. She is reunited with her late husband Toby. Beloved sister of Betty Jane Orgas and William Kasten. Cherished aunt of Kathy (Richard) Foat, Judy Heale, Lorrie (James) Jasinski, Teri (Stephen) McNeill, Lou (Vicki) Orgas and Mary (Joseph) Kipper. Great-aunt of 14. Great-great-aunt of 8.

Ruth and Betty traveled everywhere together- including Kenya. She was an avid Wisconsin sports fan. She also enjoyed reading, knitting, puzzles and volunteering at Channel 10. Ruth worked at Hankscraft for many years and retired from Balax.

Visitation will be Thursday August 24, 2017 at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, W250 N6505 Hwy 164 in Sussex, from 4pm until a Vigil Service at 6:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at St. Teresa of Calcutta, W302 N9583 O’Neill Rd. in Monches (Hartland) at 10am. Procession to St. John’s Cemetery to follow.
