Leonard Kozminski
April 17, 1920 - November 12, 2017
        

Passed away on November 12, 2017 at the age of 97. Preceded in death by his wives Grace Mary Raden in 1950 and Aletta (nee Weinkauf) of 58 years  in 2010.  Loving father to Catherine, Mary Ann (Dennis) Spychalla, Margaret Mosey, Barbara (James) Foley, and Kenneth. Proud grandfather to 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  Brother to the late Audrey (Earl) Borgeson, Arlene (Edward) Wilson and Carole (Robert) Szczech. Further survived by other family and friends. Leonard went to Grove City College and then graduated from the Naval Research Laboratories in Washington D.C. as a radar and radio technician. He served with the U.S. Marines as a radio operator in the South Pacific during WWII for 14 months and served on occupation duty in Sasebo, Japan and was honorably discharged in 1946. He married Grace Mary Raden in 1947, she passed in 1950 and they had one daughter Catherine. Leonard worked in a supervisory capacity and office manager at General Motors Parts Division for 5 years. He was recalled to duty in 1950 and served as Battalion Chief Clerk in the 2nd Marine Division, Signal Battalion at Camp LeJeune, N.C. Leonard retired from a food brokerage firm in 1985 after 33 years. He was treasurer of the Wisconsin Fisheries Council for many years and was the treasurer for bingo at St. Anthony Parish. The family would like to Thank the Medical Staff at Froedtert Hospital on floor 5 SE and Zilber Family hospice for their care of Leonard.  Visitation will be held Friday November 17, 2017 at St. Anthony Catholic Church N74 W13604 Appleton Ave. in Menomonee Falls from 10 a.m until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m Private interment St. Anthony Church Cemetery.
