Roger D. Kuen
September 3, 1924 - October 18, 2018

Age 94, was called to his eternal home Thursday, October 18, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Roger is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Carol Kuen (nee Ernst) and his children Dennis (Barb) Kuen, Karen (Pat) Kuen-Quinnt, Michelle (Peter) Kellner and Diane (Jeff Kohl) Koepke. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother Norman (Eunice) Kuen and brother-in-law Gerald (Janice) Ernst, other relatives and friends.

Roger retired from Harley Davidson as a Lead Sr. Process Engineer after a twenty year career and prior to that spent twenty years at International Harvester.

Roger had many interests but especially loved taking family vacations with the camper and after retirement making many trips in the motor home with Carol to Florida and across the U.S. He and Carol also enjoyed their cruise trips to Hawaii, Alaska and the Caribbean. For almost ten years, Roger and Carol enjoyed hosting many family members and friends at their cottage on the east side of Lake Winnebago. Roger and Carol also loved spending time with Carol’s brother and sister-in-law and family at “the land”— hunting, chopping down trees and enjoying the great outdoors.  Nothing brought him more joy than when his children built their homes. He was always on site when they could not be to ensure things got done right. Roger was always there to lend a helping hand when his children needed it. He loved his family with all his heart and was always there for them. He will be missed more than words can describe.

A celebration of life will be held at the FUNERAL HOME Friday, October 26 at 6:00 PM. Visitation from 3:00 PM until the time of the service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Parkinson Disease Foundation or Grace Lutheran Church in Menomonee Falls.
