Alexander "Alex" Polinski
November 30, 1986 - October 17, 2018

Alexander Carl Polinski, 31, of Prescott, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly October 17, 2018 as a result of a car accident,

Born in 1986 in Seoul, Korea, Alex was adopted as a toddler and at his tender age made a transatlantic flight eventually landing in Wisconsin.  Even in the midst of new people and different sounds, he adapted quickly and his natural energetic and friendly nature evolved.  He quickly made friends in pre-school and elementary school.  His second grade teacher referred to him as a friend “to the world”.

As Alex matured he encountered and overcame obstacles.  He grew in wisdom but never lost his sense of fun and friendly nature.  In addition to mentoring many people, he frequently entertained friends with his wit, contagious laughter and exceptional culinary skills.  He was known to join a group of dementia patients for a game of bingo or play games with children.  He was a young man with good values and a deep sense of loyalty.  He never ended a phone conversation with either of his parents without a ‘love you’.

Alex is a graduate of Yavapi College and was a student at Northern Arizona University.

Alex is survived by his grieving parents, Jim and Kathy Polinski; Aunt Donna Sauers; Aunt and Uncle Tom and Rosemary Remick; Cousin Allyson (Jason) Bryan and Cousin Bill (Kristie) Remick, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held Sunday, October 21, 2018 in Prescott, Arizona.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 26, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at  6:00 p.m. at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home, Oconomowoc. Internment will be Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Cemetery, Menasha.

Perhaps God, in His infinite wisdom, decided Alex was too good a soul for this earth.
