James "Jim" F. Glorioso
April 19, 1952 - February 8, 2019

James “Jim” F. Glorioso, 66, journeyed home to our Heavenly Father on February 8, 2019 after a four month battle with cancer. He passed peacefully in his Oconomowoc home surrounded by his family.

Jim was born on April 19, 1952 to Ignatius “Eddie” and the late Marie (Donovan) Glorioso in Wauwatosa, WI. He attended St. Jude the Apostle grade school, Marquette University High School, and received a Masters in Education degree from UW-Milwaukee.

In 1969, Jim met the love of his life, Vicki (nee Zeckser), a nurse who worked alongside his mother, Marie. Family and friends gathered at St. Jude the Apostle Parish on July 8, 1972 to celebrate as Jim and Vicki exchanged vows before the Lord. In the nearly 47 years Jim and Vicki have been married, they have been blessed with eight children and twelve grandchildren.

Since moving to Oconomowoc to grow and raise their family in 1976, Jim has been devoted to his local community and St. Jerome Parish. He opened his business, Glorioso’s Tax Service, in the family’s home before eventually settling into its current location on Walnut Street. Jim was also a valued employee with UPS for 32 years, servicing communities throughout SE Wisconsin.

The School Sisters of Notre Dame and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are the two organizations Jim held closest to his heart and generously supported. Jim was also a proud and long-standing member of both the Knights of Columbus and the National Association of Tax Professionals.

Jim is survived by his wife, Vicki; his children Amy (Brett) May, Anthony (Sharon) Glorioso, Andrew (Cari) Glorioso, Angelo Glorioso, Amanda (Paul) Mallas, Alissa Glorioso, Adam (Jenna) Glorioso, and Alexandra Glorioso; his grandchildren Gabriella, Reed, and Griffin May, Adriana Glorioso, Dominic, Kylee, Leila, and Juliana Glorioso, Lucia and Rosalie Mallas, and Liliana and Emilia Glorioso; his father Ignatius “Eddie” Glorioso; his brothers John, Robert (Ann), Sean, and Joseph (Keely) Glorioso; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Marie (nee Donovan) Glorioso.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 995 Silver Lake St., Oconomowoc from 10 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 1 pm.
