Andrew J. "Andy" Scott
February 17, 1950 - February 14, 2019

Andrew J. Scott “Andy” left us with love on Valentine’s Day, 2019, age 68 years. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lois (nee Nielsen) Scott. He is survived by his wife, Ann (nee Kranstover) Scott, his brother, Mark (Vicki) and his sister, Carolyn Schmidt as well as nieces Leanne (Morey) Burnard, Kelly Schmidt, Shelley Scott and a nephew, Kevin Scott. There will be emptiness in the lives of his family and friends.

Andy lived in Durand, WI for the first nine years of his life before his family moved to Milwaukee. He was a graduate of Marquette High School (Class of 1968) and earned his Business Degree from UW - Oshkosh. He served his country with distinction and pride in the US Navy from 1970 to 1974. His love for the Navy and his country ran deep.

Andy was very competitive and loved to play cards, softball and golf. He was an avid fan of the Brewers, Packers and especially the Badgers as there was never a game he missed whether in the stands or on TV. With his booming voice, you always knew if he agreed or not with the referees!  After the game, he thoroughly enjoyed analyzing it with other diehard fans. Throughout his life, Andy adored the company of his cats and loved to share stories about the past.

The family gives heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Christine Pierner, Andy’s caregiver, as she was a great help and companion to Andy in his last few months.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3rd, 2019 from 11am to 1pm at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls, WI. A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at 1pm. Burial will take place at 10am on Monday, March 4th, 2019 at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.

To honor his memory, remember all veterans who have proudly served.
