Ashley Rae Maria Mielke-Snodgrass “Nemo”      

Of Tichigan Lake, WI. With our joyful hearts, our Lord and Savior took Ashley to her home in heaven on May 21, 2019 at the age of 31.  Ashley was born on September 18, 1987 in Guatemala City, Guatemala.  She was put in her forever parents arms on April 15, 1988.  Shortly after arriving into the United States, she became a US citizen.

She is the loving wife of Timothy Snodgrass for three years; loving daughter of John and Karen Mielke; proud granddaughter of LeRoy Amborn; loving niece of Pastor Keith (Bonnie) Amborn and Thomas (Vickie) Mielke; daughter-in-law of Charles and Kathy Snodgrass; sister-in-law of Katie (Patrick) Hagen. Ashley is further survived by her precious cousins, special caregiver Cindi Giammo, and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother’s Carol Amborn and Gertrude Mielke, grandfather Raymond Mielke, and her niece Naomi Mielke.

Ashley attended St. Paul’s Lutheran School, East Troy High School, received her BA from Carroll University followed by her post Bachelorette studies at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago, and her Graduate Degree from Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, CA. She was the founder and President of the first WI Chapter of the GIA Alumni Association.  She was pursuing a career in fine jewelry design and appraising.  Ashley was a very passionate, competitive swimmer who swam from kindergarten through college.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28 at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church (410 W. Veteran’s Way Mukwonago) from 4 PM until the time of Memorial Service at 6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family are appreciated.
