Sharon A. Degner
November 1, 1949 - May 22, 2019
        

Sharon Degner (nee Shave) of East Troy, formerly Palmyra, entered Heaven’s kingdom on May 22, 2019 after an extended illness. Sharon was born on November 1, 1949 to her parents Richard and Evelyn, who preceeded her into God’s waiting arms.

Sharon is survived by her husband and camping partner, Herbert “Mike” Degner of East Troy and her beloved dog Daisy.

Sharon was an incredibly loving and devoted mother of her four children, John (Melissa) Kulick of East Troy, Scott (Bonnie) Kulick of Whitewater, Tracy (David) Lewandowski of Mukwonago and Bill (Amy) Kulick of Whitewater.

Sharon was a proud grandma of 8 grandchildren, Autumn, AJ, Maria, Connor, Drake, Stephanie, Aydyn and Montana, who will miss her dearly but cherish the memories of their grandma.

Sharon is also survived by her four sisters, Kathy (Joe) Semo, Sue (Jim) Stefanski, Diane (Mike) Mather and Jeanette Brunner. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

Sharon served as a guest host at Ottawa Lake State Park with her husband Mike for many years and will be missed by countless campers and DNR staff members. Sharon often commented that her true home was where her camper was.  Sharon was an avid fan of the Milwaukee Bucks, she also enjoyed playing Bingo with her sisters and spending time going to her grandchildren’s events.

The family would like to thank the staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital for caring for Sharon during her illness.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 1 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Mukwonago from 9:00 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 AM.

The family will host a luncheon following the service at the Mukwonago American Legion Post 375 (627 E. Veteran's Way).
