On Sunday, November 15, 2020, Patricia Kathryn Steininger, loving mother of two children and four grandchildren, passed away at the age of 71. Patti was born on February 17, 1949, to Walter Steininger and Agnes Hoan in Milwaukee. She received a Bachelor of Science from Marquette and was a Registered Nurse for forty-six years. Patti married Peter Dondlinger on September 17, 1972, for seventeen years and they had two children together, Brian Dondlinger and Sara Schroepfer. Patti had a passion for life and a generous and spirited personality. She loved to travel, at times volunteering medically in both Nepal and India. She had a huge love of animals, especially dogs, and is survived by Raven. Her happiest place to be was at the Hoan family lake cottage outside of Eagle River, WI throughout the year. She loved the outdoors and the peace of the north woods.

A celebration of life will take place next summer both in Milwaukee and at the Carpenter Lake cottage. Please connect with the family for more details.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society or the Light the Hoan Bridge in Patti's name would be deeply appreciated. The family extends gratitude for all those that helped our Mom on the last year of her journey in life.
